Shining Night (Lena in the Spotlight #3)
In Shining Night by Alena Pitts and Wynter Pitts, Lena's favorite music artist Mallory Winston, sends her a gift box full of photos and memories of their time together. Lena also finds out that her new friends at the children's hospital need help, including a little girl she spent some extra time with while there. The hospital is closing and the little girl's parents cannot afford the ongoing care needed.
Lena must find a way to rally her school, friends, community, and family to put on a huge fundraising concert. Taking on a responsibility she's worried is too big for her to handle, Lena discovers that helping others comes with a cost. With the encouragement and mentoring she receives from her family and from Mallory, she is constantly reminded that God is her strength and what matters most in life cannot be bought. Recommended for ages 8 to 12 years.
